We believe in God: creator and farmer, lover and friend, challenger and enabler; wellspring and womb of purposeful living.

We believe in Jesus Christ: compassionate and wound healer, wise-one and fool; liberator from oppression.

We believe in the Spirit: go-between and negotiator, inspirer and encourager; barrier-breaker, community-maker.

We believe in the family of faith: alive in the aliveness of Christ, prophetic in its solidarity with all who suffer, celebratory in its hope, its work, its witness.

We believe in God's commonwealth: beckoning and burgeoning, dynamic and harmonious, present and future, in which we glimpse:

    * the satisfaction of our deepest longing.
    * the healing of our painful rifts,
    * the forging of justice, peace and integrity.
