Jesus had no problem wandering outside the theology and religious boundaries of the day. Can that same spirit move God's people to stretch the boundaries of the playing field today? Where do you see things being stretched...or are we seeing things shrink?
Jesus truly was dangerous. He was creating a following with a kind of thinking that was much more on the side of inclusiveness than exclusiveness.... Jesus is always moving the boundaries out while still respecting the center. That's the key to wisdom: being grounded in the center and still, from that deep foundation, knowing how to move out.
Richard Rohr
Still my favorite from Father Richard. What a great book.

It would have to be one of my favourites too Mike. For anyone trying understand what the Kingdom is all about...Richard Rohr gives us a view that reveals the infinite redemptive imagination of Jesus. It's a book I keep coming back to.
