Scandalous, radical, beautiful...redemptive imagination beyond belief. To good to be true...only time will tell.
trying to live faithfully...search, revealing, and building the Kingdom

I cried at the same spot...
This is clearly an older piece, and I have to say it was a strange counter-point to see Haggart's take on it all.
Thanks.

Erin, you're right this aired on DateLine in August of 06', and would likely have been recorded well prior. Haggard made his public announcement in Novemeber. So, it would definitely be interesting to get Haggard's perception of hell now. He started a new church in Colorado Springs, St James Church...from the web page it is certainly inclusive...
" St. James Church is for anyone, and I do mean anyone: Democrats, Republicans, Independents and those who go to Tea Party rallies. If you are straight, gay, or bi, I want to walk through the Scriptures with you. If you are black, white Hispanic, native American, or a confusing combination, you are welcome here. Those working to overcome their sex or drug addictions, St. James is for you.
If you have a friend or family member who struggles, St. James is for you.
Adulterers, Ex-cons. Everyone is welcome.
IT'S A CHURCH FOR EVERYONE ..."
I think Ted Haggard gets it now.
